My private shooting lesson was so much more than I expected. It started with classroom instruction, showed me how to asseble a gun, safety instructions, how to shoot, and how to load and unload ammunition. But what was more valuable than basic instruction was the shift in mindset and breaking down stigma around gun ownership. I left empowered and educated. I had no experience and I left feeling powerful and have a new respect for firearms.
